The waitlist time for the formal Rockridge Montessori School enrollment offer, after a $100.00 Registration form, is 12-18 months. RMS is unable to indicate the number of families on the waitlist or guarantee an enrollment offer will match the desired start date on any registration form.
For the 2-5 Year old Preschool Program: Rockridge Montessori School is first come, first served, based on the date of the received payment for the completed registration form.

For the 12-24 Month Old Infant/Toddler Program RMS tries to establish a cohort of children born between the months of May and October. While the 12-24 Month old school contract can end when the child turns two most families opt to remain for the preschool program through the remainder of the school year ending in August. All enrolled families have first option to enroll during the annual January re-enrollment period for the September start of the school year.
The infant-toddler program for children 12-24 months sees most children enter into the preschool program and RMS must hold a concurrent preschool opening available for all children when they turn two years old and the school cannot hold openings in the preschool program to meet all of needs to transition as the Preschool program tends to operate at full capacity with few foreseeable openings through the year. Exceptions are made for sibling priorities.
The Rockridge Montessori School campus consists of Three Addresses on one block. All classrooms and yard spaces are treated with equal attention and care to ensure that all of the school areas are ready for the children to have a positive school experience. Please do not request any specific classroom or address as the school is unified as one whole.
The school contract is a full year enrollment for September (or any date after) through August each year. A two month deposit is required at the time the formal enrollment is presented and the family opts to move forward with admissions and finalize the enrollment process.
Once fully enrolled for the year there tends to be few openings presented to the waitlisted families.. A formal enrollment presented any time between March and December is due from a family enrolled in the school year contract doing an early withdrawal and Rockridge Montessori School will offer the waitlisted families the opening, one registration form at a time, until the space is filled.
All families that return the registration form will eventually receive an enrollment offer. Rockridge Montessori School cannot provide specifics about the number of families on the waitlist or make guarantees about matching a families desired start date.
It is our sincere hope that when the school is in a position to present an enrollment offer that the family who has submitted the registration form is interested in exploring the offer further at that time.
